Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually happening.
